Aaron Scheff has a background in environmental science and this knowledge informs the way he lives on and cares for the ecosystem at his own home. On much less than a quarter acre of land in the North End, the Scheff family’s labor of love turned a plot of grass and concrete into a combination of a low-water xeric-scape aesthetic and an edible landscape. Also, listen for the new ordinance enacted by Boise City encouraging urban gardening and farming.
